Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she sang in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Theater. Upon her move from Missouri to Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in stage, choreographing and acting in over two dozen shows. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. As she continued to learn the art of improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a Company member of Theatre West Kelly also started getting roles for television and in film. Her voice and diminutive stature that have allowed Kelly to play a variety of diverse roles. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the charming receptionist from Two and a Half Men. From 2011-2015 Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper in the evening as a series regular on the TV Land sitcom The Exes. Also, she was an Regular as the sassy, sexpert baby sister of Alyssa Milano on ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the mom in a stressed-out suburban home in the show on CW's No Tomorrow. She has lent her singing voice to several animated cartoons like Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Most recently she can be in the role of the slow but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's super-hit comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life, with her husband, and their two little children and enjoys sewing writing and volunteering at school activities.
